PEIMS Manager
Mariza Cantu brings a rich and diverse background in education and administrative support to her role at Brillante Academy.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Computer & Information Technologies and an Associate of Arts in Teaching EC–6 Generalist. Her professional experience includes 13 years at IDEA Public Schools, work as a lab assistant at South Texas Community College, and service as a secretary and translator at a law office in North Carolina.
At Brillante, Mariza oversees PEIMS and data management with precision and care, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and support for students and staff. She is deeply committed to the school’s mission and approaches her work with purpose and resilience.
A transformative experience in her life—the loss of her parents—instilled in her a deep sense of gratitude and perseverance. She is proud of raising her children as a single mother and watching them succeed through higher education.
Outside of work, Mariza enjoys spin classes, coffee shops, traveling, trying new foods, and movies.
